Summer Updates from the Lake Oswego Tennis Center

 Hello!

With Memorial Day a couple of days away, Summer is just around the corner.

Let's start with some kudos from the neighbors.  Before the April Uplands Neighborhood Association meeting, a neighbor pulled me aside and wanted to thank the tennis community for their respect while driving through the neighborhood.  They appreciated everyone's conscientiousness on both speed and obeying stop signs and are hoping that will continue now that the center has been open for a few months.

Tennis Center Seasonal Lottery Submission Form OPENS June 1

Interested in having a weekly reservation for the same day & time?  The Seasonal lottery is the best way to secure consistent court time. Seasonal reservations are made for a 4.5-month period (Fall/Winter and renewable in Winter/Spring)

The 2022-23 seasonal reservation season is set to finish over the next of couple weeks. The lottery submission form for the 2023-24 season opens on June 1st.   Once the submission form closes on July 16th, phone calls will begin over the next few days.

Summer Office Hours & Keycards
Beginning on Friday, May 26th, The Lake Oswego Tennis Center will begin our summer office hours.  The Summer LOTC office hours will be Mon - Fri 8:30a - 4:30p.

If you have a reservation or plan on reserving a court outside of these times, you will need a keycard in order to access the facility.  Keycards are available to purchase from the front desk for $20 and are valid for 12 months after your date of purchase.  If using a keycard, DO NOT PROP OPEN ANY DOORS FOR THE REST OF YOUR GROUP.  Please wait in the lobby for everyone to arrive and then proceed to the court on your reservation.

As seasonal reservations end, some keycards are set to expire over the next few weeks.  To renew your keycard, call the L.O. Tennis Center at 503-635-5550 or stop by the front desk. Keycard renewal fee of $20 to extend for an additional 12 months. We do not need to print you a new card.

Fall USTA Leagues: Adult 55 & Over and Mixed 18 & Over Divisions

With Summertime upon us we have a brief hiatus before the next USTA team deadline.  Fall USTA leagues will include the Adult 55 & Over and Mixed 18 & Over leagues.  The deadline for team registration forms for USTA Fall leagues is Monday, July 31st. As always, if you are interested in putting a team together for the Fall season, please email your USTA team confirmation form to imiller@lakeoswego.city.   Team forms must be signed by the facility manager before they can be submitted to USTA. Fall USTA league matches will be played on Friday, Saturday, & Sunday evenings.

Thank you for your continued support of the L.O. Tennis Center!
